Electronic Banking

If you don't pay your rent and other bills electronically, you should because it costs less (for you and for whoever you are paying) and electronic payments are the most reliable way to document the payment date and amount.

Think about it this way: If you decide to build credit with your rent payments, would you want your landlord to record the payment date when your check is received, or would you want the date to be recorded as the date you send the payment?

With electronic payments, you can take much better control of the date payments are recorded, reduce the chance of human error in recording the date and payment amount, and save money.

On-line Bill Payment and other electronic payment services are widely offered, and probably by your own bank or landlord. Check there first!
